Signed (& maybe even personalized!) Book Giveaway Hop (US)

Welcome to the Signed Books Giveaway Hop!

For this hop, ONE (1) lucky winner will get ONE (1) book!
So which book?
The Spring into the Future Tour is stopping by my town on the 25th,  and YOU get to reap the reward!
Basically, the winner of this hop can choose one YA* book by any of these authors! And if I can get my shit together and get a response from the winner in time, I will also get your book personalized! I can't guarantee that since it depends too much on me being able to choose a winner, email them, and get a choice/response by the 25th, but I do swear to try my hardest.

So which books can the winner choose from? Any one of the following:
Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
Hallowed by Cynthia Hand
Boundless by Cynthia Hand
Shatter Me by Tahareh Mafi
Unravel Me by Tahareh Mafi
Eve by Anna Carey
Once by Anna Carey
Rise by Anna Carey
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
Not these specific books - these are mine. But I will get one copy of any you like!

US only, ends April 22!
Enter through the rafflecopter below, and all my usual giveaway policy rules apply.
Make sure to check out the rest of the linky list, there are some great prizes!
Good luck!

*if you noticed this asterisk, good job! It has to be a YA book because I cannot guarantee Mysterious Galaxy to have any of the authors' MG, adult, or Photo books. Sorry!

  1. Sadly this has never happened yet! But I did receive my first signed arc of Unremembered from Jessica Brody for winning a giveaway. :D It's pretty cool. I also got a bookmark.

  2. I went to last summer's Fierce Reads tour stop and met Anna Banks (whom I interviewed, and she remembered me!), Leigh Bardugo (who now calls me "eyelash girl" because she thought for sure my eyelashes were fake when they weren't), Emmy Laybourne (who knew of me before I knew of her!), and Marissa Meyer (who was hilarious). It was my first author signing ever, and it was so much fun! I'm jealous you get to go to this signing! I hope you have fun!

  3. I went to a Pitch Dark event way back when Divergent first came out and met Veronica Roth and Josephine Angelini (author of Starcrossed)! I'm older than Veronica Roth, but told her I wanted to be her (as in a successful author) when I grew up. Both girls were so sweet and fun. It was amazing to meet my kind of celebrity. :) Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. I actually never was able to get to an event like that. I live so far up in the mountains, its hard to get to anything that might come near me, (which would be over 2 hours away to the nearest city) I love signed books, and treasure all I have be able to get. Thanks for this great giveaway, and if I was to win, would be very grateful to the trouble your going through, its so very generous of you. :) Hope you have fun while doing it at least. :) (rafflecopter name is Michelle L Lynn)

  6. I haven’t been to an author signing before. Man I wish I could!! That would be the coolest thing ever to meet all these great authors. I just don’t know how to find out or keep up with the signings. I guess the authors websites. I’m definitely going to check and see when they will have some around where I live. Have fun at the signing!! I know you will! LUCKY!! Thank you so much for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!

  7. Sadly, I've never been to one. No one ever comes close to my town, and I can't travel to another state right now for a signing.

  8. I haven't been able to get to one -- yet! I did have a friend go see Neil Gaiman and it was a glorious experience. If I ever got to meet an author, I'd love to have a chance to say thank you to Leigh Bardugo for such an amazing book (Shadow & Bone)!

  10. I went to YALLFest last November at it was by far my favorite author event. I got to meet Jenny Han and Stephanie Perkins and talk about writing with Simone Elkeles. It was fantastic!

  11. I've never been to a book signing or event. :( Isn't that so sad?! I live in Connecticut, and it seems like they never come near me. And it's hard for me to travel, having a full-time job and a toddler baby boy. Ho hum... hopefully some day I'll be able to attend one. It's a dream of mine.

Thanks for participating in the giveaway!! :)

  12. I've never been to an author event :( I wish I would've kept an eye out when I was a teenager and living in a huge city, but I didn't. Now I'm in the middle of nowhere and I know there are no events here - well except for children's authors. My 6 year old said one was coming to his school and he is so excited about it :)

Awesome giveaway - thanks for the opportunity :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. I have never been to one ): I was going to make one on the 10th of April, but I unfortunately got a flat! I was really excited to meet with Marissa Meyer. Thank you for this wonderful giveaway!

  14. I'm a little jealous of all the fabulous signings you go to! Plus, I bet your weather is nice. :)

  15. My favorite author event . . . this is a hard one. I'm going to have to go with meeting J.K. Rowling just because it's J.K. freaking Rowling. She did an event in NYC for The Casual Vacancy, where she did a Q&A, reading & signing and it was pretty epic. Harry Potter is my all time favorite series so meeting the author behind that was just. . .perfect

  16. No one has come close to where I live and it's hard with school to just drive there, but I would LOVE to go to a signing by Leigh Bardugo, Stephanie Perkins (I think she'd be so much fun!!) and Emily Murdoch:)

    Thank you:)

    ReplyDelete
  21. I have only been to one. It was Mike Mullin. He was very funny and answered everyone's questions. It was very fun.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I really liked seeing Meg Cabot - she was so nice and hilarious too!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I haven't been to any events. :( The only author i have met personally has been Jaz Primo. <3 He live in the same city as me and I met up with him to have him sign my books of his that i have. :) He's so sweet! :) I am looking forward to the RT Book Convention at the beginning of May though. :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

  34. I'm not sure it counts as an author event, but I went to a Fairy Festival in Southern Pennsylvania and they had a discussion tent with several authors and illustrators and Holly Black was there! Getting to talk about storytelling with Holly Black, then getting her to sign my copy of Tithe and get a hug and picture was beyond amazing!

    2. Antony John, author of Elemental and Five Flavors of Dumb (So funny and nice!)
    3. Lauren Oliver, gave a great talk and Q and A, and is the author of one of my all time favorite books, Before I Fall.

  63. My favorite (only) author event I've been to was when I was in TAB (Teen Advisory Board) last year and we went to see Kristin Levine, the author of The Best Bad Luck I Ever Had and The Lions Of Little Rock, at our public library. It was pretty awesome...I got my book and a bookmark signed and Kristin was super fun and bubbly and awesome :)

  66. I've never been to one, but I'd love to go. Usually they're in Houston which is an hour and a half away from me & driving in Houston is a pain so I don't go. I just wish authors would come to small cities instead of big ones!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I've never been to any author event. I'd really want to.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I've never been to an author event, but I wish I could. I don't really live anywhere near the events I've heard of. I'd love to meet Tahereh Mafi and Cassandra Clare though!

  69. I have to say I have never been I would love to go to one.One of these days would be awesome to go to a convention and signing and meet all the people I love to read

    ReplyDelete
  70. So far I've only been in Lauren Oliver and Tahereh Mafi's signing and both was very memorable because YA authors rarely go to my country so I make it a point to attend those

    ReplyDelete
  71. I met Beth Revis, Marie Lu, Victoria Schwab, Marissa Meyer, Meghan Shepherd, and Carrie Ryan at an even just a few weeks ago. What made it special was having all those incredible authors in one place! It was a little overwhelming.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Unfortunately, I've never been to an author signing event. I have, however, been to an artist signing where he signed a book of his artwork, so technically I guess it was a book signing. Thank you for joining this hop - I love signed books!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Sadly, I haven't been able to go to any author signing events, which is partly due to the fact that not many come to Michigan. I'd love to meet some of my favorite authors, like Nora Roberts and Chelsea Fine.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I've always wanted to go to an author event but I've never gotten the chance. The events are always to far away but maybe some day I hope ;) Thanks for the great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  76. You're so amazingly lucky to be going to meet these authors! I'm a little green with jealousy. Okay, fine, a lot green! I live in London and it might as well be the moon for how often authors from the US visit. So I've never been to even ONE author event. Zip, zilch, nada.

Which also means that I currently have no signed books. So you might be wondering why I'm even entering if I don't live in the US. Luckily, my big sis does. So if I was to win, I'd get her to send it to me :) But what else are big sisters for if not spending money to send me things from abroad to make me insanely happy?

    Really brilliant giveaway! Thanks :)

  77. Jennifer Baumgardner, a feminist author, came to my university to speak a few years ago. After she spoke, the grad students invited her out to dinner, and she accepted! It was nice to be able to eat a nice dinner with her and chat. We read a lot of her material in class, so it was nice to discuss it further, along with what she was currently working on and what we were all working on.

  78. Never got a chance to meet an author, one of the few drawbacks of a small rural town

  80. I’ve only been to four author events, and the most memorable would have to be Christopher Paolini’s for Brisingr. It was a HUGE event, he couldn’t pronounce my name right (but he did say it was very pretty! :D) and stood there for hours in line but totally worth it! Thanks for the amazing giveaway :D

    ReplyDelete
  81. Richelle Mead and it was memorable as it was the very first signing I've attended. The lines were huge and I even went by myself, that's how much I didn't care LOL

    Thanks for the generous giveaway!

  82. Sadly, no authors really want to come to Mississippi and the TWO whole times that it's actually happened, I was unable to find a babysitter for my two young boys who I know would hate to have to go. (I wouldn't want to torture them, myself, the authors, or the other attendees.) So, unfortunately, I can't speak about an experience.

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity and for participating in the hop!

  83. My one and only author event will probably be my favorite. I saw my FAVORITE author Ally Carter. She talked, signed books, and they even gave away a free book (I got an ARC of Asunder). It was overall wonderful.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I went to a Marissa Meyer event when she was in my town. It was so much fun and I loved hearing her talk about how she got into writing

    ReplyDelete
  85. I met Richelle Mead and that was pretty exciting! There were a lot of people though so I wish we could have had an actual conversation instead of me gushing. I am going to the RT Convention in Kansas City in a couple weeks though and hope to meet tons of authors!
